Itinerary No. 17: Adventure tour(Sikkim) 16 days/15 nights
Day 01 : Delhi-Bagdogra. Pickup from Bagdogra airport and drive to Darjeeling 65km/3hrs transfer to pre booking hotel.
Day 03 : Darjeeling. Early this morning we will watch a unique sight - the sun rise over Tiger Hill. Later we will explore the areas around Darjeeling and visit the famous Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and the famous Buddhist Monastery at Ghoom. O/n stay at a hotel.
Day 04 : Darjeeling – Gangtok. Today we will drive upto Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim and on the way visit Martam village and Rumtek Monastery. O/n hotel.
Day 05 : Gangtok We will spend the day exploring the city and its cultural and religious sites and visit the Enchey Monastery and the Noor Monastery. O/n same hotel.
Day 06 : Gangtok - Lachung (North Sikkim). From Gangtok we will head for Lachung in north Sikkim. On the way we will visit several monasteries chief among them being the Phodong Monastery. O/n hotel.
Day 07 : Lachung - Yumthang Valley – Lachung. Early morning we will drive to the Yumthang valley and view the Himalayan range and snow covered peaks and on the way visit the Lachung Monastery. O/n hotel.
Day 08 : Lachung – Gangtok. Today we drive to Gangtok on the mountain road and on the way we will see different views of the eastern Himalayan range in all their glory. O/n hotel
Day 09 : Gangtok - Rabongla (South Sikkim). From Gangtok we will go to Rabongla in south Sikkim. This drive passes the famous Temi tea garden and we will visit the Ralong Monastery on the way. O/n hotel.
Day 10 : Rabongla – Yuksom. We will drive to Yuksom today and see its historical sites. We will visit the coronation site of the first king of Sikkim in 1642 and the famous Norbugang Chorten, the Kathok Lake and Dubdi Monastery. O/n hotel.
Day 11 : Yuksom – Pemayangtse. From Yuksom we will go to Pemayangtse and on the way visit the sacred Kheocheplari Lake. At Pemayangtse we will explore the ruins of the Rabdentse Palace and visit the Pemayangtse Monastery. Overnight halt.
Day 12 : Pemayangtse. Today we will spend the day at Pemayangtse and go on an easy trek to the Sangachoeling Monastery which is the second oldest monastery after Pemayangtse. It is a meditation and retreat centre for the lamas and is used for Buddhist creamations. Overnight halt.
Day 13 : Pemayangtse - Kalimpong .On the way today we will visit the religious cave site - Phur Cha Chu and the hotsprings near the river Rangit at Legship and continue our drive to Kalimpong. Overnight halt.
Day 14 : Kalimpong. Today we will spend the day exploring the sites around Kalimpong and visit several monasteries and the well known plant nurseries where you will get to see some very rare flowers. Overnight stay.
Day 15 : Kalimpong to Siliguri. We will drive down to Siliguri today and spend the night there.
Day 16 : Siliguri - Bagdogra – Delhi. Today we transfer to the airport for our flight to Delhi. (tour terminate)
Price. Negotiable. US dollar net per person. (twine share basis).
Cost including. Arrival and departure, We will provide 01 vehicle non a/c jeep, per jeep share by depend on you, Accommodation in standard, Break fast, Lunch, Dinner, (Restricted area permit for Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Part of Sikkim, Tripura), Entrance fee, English speaking guide and local escort.
Cost those not include. Camera fee, personal expanses, any kind of drink, phone call, laundry, Tips. Which are not mention above.
Note :
1. Please send your document i.e. Xerox copy of passport & visa to be obtain permit processes for Arunachal Pradesh. Document should be reached 4 week in advance.
2. This traveling circuit is do not have a star hotel. But there is basic standard accommodation only. Circuit house/Tourist Lodge which is run by Government / Small private party. Also this trip will have traveling in very remote and tribal village, facilities are poor service like a telephone, electricity, money changer, road maintained, and you must treat as Nature adventurous trip
