Itinerary No. 15: Wild life tour(Assam) 10day/9nights
Day 01. Arived Guwahati airport from Kolkota/Delhi/Mumbai. Pickup from Guwahati transfer to pre-book hotel. Evening free we can visit Kamakhya Temple. The Kamakhya temple is one of the most revered shrine of the Hindu faith, temple is located on Neelachal Hill 8km from town O/n hotel.
Day 02. Guwahati-Manas National Park(176km/4hrs). After breakfast drive to Manas National Park a project Tiger Reserve and World heritage in North-west of Guwahati. Other denizens of the dense jungles here are the one-horned rhino, Tiger, hispid hare, gaurs pygmy hogs and rare golden langur. This trip is also paradise for bird watcher for it has a stunning selection of avian life. In the park we can also excellent angling opportunities. O/n stay Forest Bangalow/Tent/Lodge.
Day 03. Manas- Hijo(130km/3hrs). Early morning drive to Hijo is place of meeting point of Muslim, Buddhist and Hindu faith. The Hayagrib Madhab Temple here is said to contain a relic of Buddha, one school of Buddhism believes that lord Buddha attained Nirvana here. One Iraqi prince who become a preacher called Pir Giasuddin Aulia established a mosque in Hijo in the 12th centaury, while visit the place to spread the world of the Prophet. After sightseeing we will through drive to Guwahati(32km/1&half hrs). O/n stay at Guwahati in pre book hotel.
Day 04. Guwahati-Kaziranga(237km/7hrs). This day we will take on the way breakfast. Early morning drive to next destination to National Park(Kaziranga).The 340-sq Kms Park is located on the South bank of the Brahmaputra 233kms from Guwahati; it is famous for its 1000 plus, population of one-horned Rhinos. Tigers are of also present in sizable numbers. Other attractions include the wild buffalo, magnificent swamp deer, hog deer, wild boar, Hoolak gibbon, Capped Langur, and Badger. Amongst the birds, the Crested Serpent Eagle is common, also the Pallas Fishing eagle, Grey Headed Fishing Eagle, Crane, Great Adjutant Stork, Bengal Floricab, Bar Headed Goose, Whistling Teal and Pelican can be seen in the wild. Jeep and Elephant Safari, is the mode of exploration. O/n stay at Hotel/Lodge/resort. Around 15:15hrs we will sightseeing in the park by jeep safari. Back to hotel.
Day 05. Kaziranga-Jorhat(98km/3hrs). Morning one more game viewing in the park by elephant safari, it may take 2hrs long, we will delay breakfast this day. After b/f we will drive to Jorhat. Evening free for leisure tour you can do market. O/n stay hotel.
Day 06. Jorhat-Majuli(50km above). After breakfast we drive to The worlds largest River Island is reached by ferry 100 kms from Kaziranga and 320 kms from Guwahati. It is famous for its twenty-two 15th Century "satras". These are Hindu vashnite monasteries functioning as centers of Assamese arts. The worship of Lord Vishnu is through dance, music and poetry. The Majuli is home to the Mishing tribe who migrated from Arunachal. They are Assam only riverine tribal community and they make some astoundingly beautiful shawls and blankets which are also used as wall hangings. O/n stay Tourist lodge/Circuit house/hotel/tent
Day 07. Majuli-North(2/3hrs drive). After breakfast we will drive for river cross to North Lakhimpur, if the road through means we would be comfort our journey, so road have poor maintained, our journey may be come adventure sport and remarkable journey. Evening free we can visit Plain Miri tribal village, The Assam Miri are similar to Hills Miri who inhabitant in Arunachal Pradesh. But way of activities are totally different between Assam and Arunachal Miri tribe. O/n stay hotel.
Day 08. North Lakhimpur-Tezpur(270km/7hrs). Early morning journey start for Tezpur, this day we will on the way breakfast will have and enroute visit tea garden. The city of blood is meaning are Tezpur the place is place of mythological war here between Lord Krishna and Lord Shiva. Evening we can enjoy delightful views of the Brahmaputra river at dawn…then watch the flurry of activity as the day begin for the boats and vessel line up near the bank. If we have time then we can visit one more island the island settler people are belonging to Nepal, there are no motor able just only need to hiring India made boat which could be cross Bhoroli river. O/n stay hotel.
Day 09. Excursion to Nameri National Park 50km from Hotel. After break fast we will drive to Nameri Park lies astride a 25 kms stretch of river Jai – Bhoroli, it is a treasure house of sub-tropical flora, on the border of Arunachal Pradesh. It preserves, Leopard, Tiger, Bison, Elephant, Wild Boar, Himalayan Bear, capped Langur, Giant Squirrel, and the endangered Hispid Hare, White Winged Wood Duck, Hornbill, and other birds. An Eco camp provides a base for jungle safaris for flora, wildlife, bird watching, boating, rafting and angling, on a catch and release basis, and visit to the Tippi Orchid Research Station. We will have game rafting for 3/4hrs in the park. After completion our program back to Tezpur for night stay.
Day 10. After break fast transfer to Tezpur airport for flight to Kolkota/Delhi/ via Guwahati airport. Tour terminate.

1. Please send your document i.e. Xerox copy of passport & visa to be obtain permit processes for Arunachal Pradesh. Document should be reached 4 week in advance.
2. This traveling circuit is do not have a star hotel. But there is basic standard accommodation only. Circuit house/Tourist Lodge which is run by Government / Small private party. Also this trip will have traveling in very remote and tribal village, facilities are poor service like a telephone, electricity, money changer, road maintained, and you must treat as Nature adventurous trip.
